Welcome

Gallions Urban Village is a showpiece regeneration community in the Thames Gateway. At its heart is an award winning ecological corridor of wetlands, waterways and parkland. Late 2004, Transport for London (TfL) started the second phase of public consultation on proposals to run a transit route (GWT) right through these beautiful green spaces.

The report on the results of that consultation is now in the public domain, and all is looking promising for the local community. Thanks to all who took part in, and supported, the campaign.

However, we will still be watching for TfL's recommendation on the route to Greenwich Council in a few months time. See the Contacts page for more about this and other issues of concern. The Bulletin Board - see main menu above - will now concentrate on general community matters (including the new Neighbourhood Watch schemes), as has happened over recent months.
